General Kim Yoo-shin, who accomplished the unification of the three kingdoms in the seventh century, was a member of the Hwarang order, an elite group of youth who excelled in beauty, bravery and military arts. The Hwarang were the flowers of the Shilla Dynasty. The Hwarang spirit has not faded; it has continued down unbroken until today. Even in the midst of terrible suffering, the Korean people kept their honor as a noble race. The Warrior’s Dance floats on the exciting melody of the Ballad of Gyeongbuk Palace, and the twelve Little Angels who perform it show us the hope of tomorrow and touch our hearts.
