Traditionally, when spring comes to Korea, one can find the girls spending their days in the field picking wildflowers while the boys go to the hillside to gather firewood. Frequently, they have been known to meet in the countryside, which, blanketed with warm sunshine and gentle winds, would find them laughing and dancing together, caught up in the spirit of a joyful spring in the making.
